Diane Burns is a pioneer in electronic publishing. In 1984, she founded TransPacific Digital as one of the first Macintosh-based service bureaus in the United States.

She is the co-author or author of 11 books on publishing applications, including the recent AdobePress book Digital Publishing with Adobe InDesign. Ms. Burns is an Adobe Certified Instructor for InDesign and DPS.
